This website is hosted by AHOY united media. When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically processes information transmitted by your browser (so-called server log files): IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser and operating system used. This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The log files are deleted after a short period unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.<\/p>\n

3. SSL\/TLS encryption<\/h3>\n

For security reasons, this website uses SSL\/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by \u201chttps:\/\/\u201d in your browser\u2019s address bar.<\/p>\n

5. Contact form and contact by email or phone<\/h3>\n

If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process your details (name, email address, subject and message, or your phone number in the case of calls) to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a booking, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.<\/p>\n

6. Spam protection with Cloudflare Turnstile<\/h3>\n

To protect the contact form against automated submissions (spam), we use the Turnstile service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Turnstile uses technical characteristics of your browser (including IP address, browser and device information) to check whether the input comes from a human. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning form protected against misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The fonts used on this website are loaded locally from our server. No connection to Google servers is made.<\/p>\n

8. Map (Google Maps)<\/h3>\n

On the \u201cLocation & Surroundings\u201d page you can display a map from Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The map is only loaded once you have consented to the \u201cMarketing\u201d category in the consent banner or clicked \u201cLoad map\u201d on the page. 9. Google Ads and conversion tracking<\/h3>\n

We advertise Villa Palmera with ads via Google Ads, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (\u201cGoogle\u201d). We only use Google conversion tracking if you have consented to the \u201cMarketing\u201d category in the consent banner. If you reach our website via one of our ads, a cookie is stored. This allows us to see whether the click was followed by a redirect to online booking, an enquiry via the contact form or contact by e-mail or phone. We only receive statistical evaluations and no information that could identify you personally. We use Google Consent Mode: without your consent, no advertising cookies are set. Data may be transferred to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 10. Booking, rental agreement and payment<\/h3>\n

You send booking enquiries to us by email or phone. To carry out the rental relationship, we process your details (including name, address, contact details, travel dates, number of guests and payment information). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. If you pay via PayPal, the data required for the payment is transmitted to PayPal (Europe) S.\u00e0 r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22\u201324 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. We retain contract and invoice data in accordance with the retention periods under commercial and tax law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).<\/p>\n

11. Guest registration (Spain) and online check-in<\/h3>\n

As landlords of a holiday rental in Spain, we are legally obliged to record the identity and stay details of all guests and report them to the Spanish authorities (SES.Hospedajes platform of the Ministry of the Interior) (Real Decreto 933\/2021). We use the online check-in service Chekin as a processor for this purpose. The legally required data is processed, including name, date of birth, nationality, identity document details, address and period of stay. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. The data is only stored for as long as required by law.<\/p>\n

12. Booking portals and external links<\/h3>\n

Villa Palmera can also be booked via booking portals such as Booking.com and FeWo-direkt. If you book there, the portal\u2019s own privacy policy applies to its data processing. On this website we also link to our Instagram profile and to reviews on Booking.com. You are only taken to the respective website when you click such a link; no data is transmitted to these providers beforehand.<\/p>\n

13. Your rights<\/h3>\n

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).<\/p>\n
